Carsa June Bundren

Carsa June Bundren, 64, passed away peacefully at her home on May 12, 2026. She was born on May 27, 1961, the daughter of Clifford Owen and Verneice (Edwards) Owen.

Carsa was a proud and active member of the Eastern Star and attended North America Baptist Church. She loved life’s simple joys — flower gardening, learning new things, watching HGTV, and listening to both rock and country music. She often joked about loving being an only child, and she especially treasured that her own son was an only child as well. Above all else, Carsa adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her son, Ryan Bundren and wife Jelaine; her beloved grandchildren, Jetta, Vivien, and Diana; her mother, Verneice Owen; along with other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Owen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Services will be held at North America Baptist Church located at 770 North America Road in Galatia. Services begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, with Pastor Dale Martin officiating. Guests are invited to arrive a few moments before the service begins. Interment will follow in the North America Baptist Church Cemetery.
