Carolyn Joyce O'Brien

Carolyn Joyce O'Brien, age 80, of Anna, Illinois, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

Carolyn was born August 11, 1943 in Union County, Illinois. She married the love of her life, William O'Brien. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her two sons, daughter, and daughter-in-law; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one sister, six sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins that will all miss her smiling face.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, 1:00 PM at Blairsville Cemetery with Rev. Keith Owens officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery.

Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
