Caroline L. Coloni

Herrin- Caroline L. Coloni, 89, of Herrin, died at 8:15 PM, Sunday, August 15, 2004 at her home. Caroline was born on September 7, 1914 in Herrin to the late Anthony & Margarite (Marine) Coloni. She retired from Bracy Insurance agency in 1976 where she was employed as a secretary. Miss Coloni was an active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin until her health prevented her. SURVIVORS: Niece- Norma Molla- Fairborn, OH Nephew- James Monticelli & wife Jackie- OFallon, MO Great Nieces & Nephews- Several She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Geatana Monticelli, Rose Coloni & Pauline DeFrank, nephew; Paul Raymon Molla, Sr., Niece; Mary Schennek & husband Ernest, & cousins; Charles & Celeste Eovaldi. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 19, 2004 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until time of procession to church, Thursday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations are suggested to OLMC/ St. Marys Education Foundation or San Carlo Cemetery and will be accepted at both the church and funeral home.
