Betty F. McKane

Betty F. McKane, 80, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 5:15 am at Salem Township Hospital. Betty was born July 7, 1933 in Harrisburg, the daughter of Bud and Ruby (Butler) Hughes. She She was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of Marion. She married James Morgan in March, 1980 and they were together until his death in 2001. Survivors include her; Son – Charles Schram and wife Janet of Clinton, Illinois Three daughters; Nancy Frye of Sparta Mary Pelengaris and husband Paul of Aurora Tina Downey of Marion Five Grandchildren Eight Great Grandchildren Preceded by her Parents, Husband, two brothers – Wallace and Wayne Hughes, two sisters – Lois Turner and Buddy Lowrey. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 2 pm at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Don Travelstead officiating.  Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
