BARBARA BOWMAN SINGLER Marion Barbara Bowman Singler, 70, died Sunday, October 19, 2003 at 4:35 P.M. at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Barbara was born May 24, 1933 to Lonnie and Betty Marima Priest in Williamson County. She married Louis E. Singler and he preceded her in death. Barbara was a homemaker, she retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield, had worked at GTE, IL Public Aid in the Sheriffs Department. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Marion. Survivors include: 2 Sons Victor P. Singler of Marion Bobby Bowman of Marion 1 Daughter Sherri Clark of Marion 3 Grandchildren Chad Clark and wife Christina of Marion Jerrod Harpstrite of Marion Megan Harpstrite of Marion 2 Great-Grandchildren Keith Clark of St. Charles, Missouri Madison Clark of St. Charles, Missouri 1 Brother Lonnie Priest Jr. and wife Ida of Marion Preceded by: Husband, Parents, and 1 Grandson Chris Bowman Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
