Mt. Vernon-Alekxos “Patti” Regan, age 77, formerly of Marion, passed away peacefully at 9:15pm on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Mt. Vernon Health Care following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 22, 1938, the only child of Oscar “Jake” and Wilda (Turner) Fife.
Patti worked in the food service industry most of her life in many parts of the U.S. and mostly in fine dining. As a result, she met and served many celebrities.
Her passion was traveling all over the country, meeting new people, making numerous friends, enjoying the offerings of local restaurants and taking lots of pictures as she went.
She moved to Illinois permanently in 2004 and worked for Addus Healthcare as an in-home aide.
Patti is survived by her two children: a son, Larry Wayne Wells and wife Katie of University Place, WA and daughter, Sabrina K. (Wells) Yearack and husband Tim of Marion; two grandsons, Brandon M. Yearack and Jason K. Wells; two great grandchildren, Josie Wells and Nolan Yearack; half-brother, Daryl Fife and half-sister, Rhonda (Fife) Spencer both of Topeka, KS
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant granddaughter, Alicia Yearack
Arrangements for the cremation have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Patti preferred no services to be held.
