Alan Lynn Lawrence

Alan Lynn Lawrence, 74, of Marion, passed away on September 10, 2021 at 11:40 pm at Integrity Nursing Home of Carbondale.

Alan was born October 22, 1946 in Harrisburg the son of Russell Lowell and Kathryn (Taylor) Lawrence.

Alan was stationed 3 years in Alaska while proudly serving in the Navy.  He retired as a technician for GTE/Verizon.

Survived by his: Companion – Rosalie Will of Marion

Daughter – Christina Rene Coburn of Gallatin, Tennessee

Grandchildren;

Lakes Rene Gallo of Metropolis

Abigail Paige Spence of Gallatin, Tennessee

Jerod Terrell Spence of Gallatin, Tennessee

Great grandchildren – Hadley Rene Paige Baker and Braxton Monroe Gallo

Step-Son – Jay Will (Dana) of Marion

Step-grandchildren – Jaylynn Will and Ryan Will of Marion

Preceded by his Parents

In accordance with Alan’s wishes he will be cremated and no services will be held.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
